My last post was about how to make your own all natural bug spray. Â In the event that one or two of those rascals got past the spray barrier that you made, or, if you haven’t had a chance to make your natural bug spray yet, and you’ve fallen victim to some itchy bug bites, fear not. Â
You can make your own all natural bug bite treatment that is miraculous!
All you need are some essential oils, some baking soda, or some raw honey. Â Easy!
Essential Oils Bug Bite Treatment
1 drop Lavender Essential Oil (get lavender oil  here)
1 drop Peppermint Essential Oil (get peppermint oil here)
1 drop Tea Tree Essential Oil (get tea tree oil here)
Apply directly to the effected area. Relief will be experienced instantly. You will only need 1-2 applications for mosquito bites, but more for spider or other insect bites. Apply as needed. These essential oils will work effectively individually, as well. So, if you don’t have all three-use what you have. You’ll still get great results!!
To make it easier and more convenient for myself, I make a blend in a small, amber, glass bottle so that I don’t have to apply the drops of essential oils individually. Get bottles here. Â These three essential oils are safe to apply neat (full strength, directly to skin).
For bee and wasp stings, make a paste with baking soda and water and apply to the affected area. Leave on the area until relief is attained. You may also cover the area with a cloth wrap or bandage.
Raw honey makes an excellent bug bite treatment. Apply directly to the affected area. The enzymes in the honey draw out the venom and soothe the skin. Remember, it must be raw honey!
